Wednesday saw the grand unveiling of the ASSYA & A21 Campaign charity bracelet, hosted by Rosana de Souza and ASSYA. A21 are a non-profit organisation working to end human trafficking, the modern day slavery. There are more slaves in the world today than at any other point in human history, with an estimated 27 million in bondage across the globe. Men, women, and children are being exploited for manual and sexual labour against their will. They work to promote the four P’s: PREVENTION – prevents human trafficking through awareness and education PROTECTION – protects victims through restoration programs PROSECUTION – pursues justice by prosecuting human traffickers PARTNERSHIP – partners with people just like you and me to fight for freedom together The launch party took place in the Serpentine Sackler gallery’s, The Magazine Restaurant, an impressive space designed by Zaha Hadid. After cocktails and canapés, Rosana de Souza kicked off the night with a moving speech about the cause, followed by Tessa Grazzini, creative director of ASSYA, introducing the bracelet. The idea for the bracelet was dreamt up by Rosana and Tessa, who recognised the great work the charity were doing and wanted to help. The bracelet comes in gold vermeil or sterling silver, and features a key charm and disc engraved with A21. All profits from the bracelet go to the A21 Campaign. After the speeches bracelets were informally auctioned off to an eager crowd with sell out success! The celebrations continued as belly dancers entertained the guests, who included Rachel Koo, Ella Catliss and Edgar Davids. Dancing continued into the night as the DJ’s took to the decks. The bracelet is available in store. Find out more about the A21 Campaign on their website: http://www.a21.org/index.php

As Seen On…
Assya pieces have been spotted at a number of high profile events this week adorning the arms, fingers and ears of two glamourous ladies, Clara Paget and Jodie Kidd.
Jodie Kidd, model, donned Assya’s new Arrow earrings and Rocks bracelet for the Polo last weekend. She looked stunning in her peach dress choosing Assya’s pink tourmaline earrings and bracelet to accent.
Clara Paget, model and actress, stole the show at last night’s Johnnie Walker premiere. She stood out wearing a vibrant pink and red floral dress with Assya’s dramatic Silk Weaved cuff and Cage ring.
Silk Weaved Styling
Assya Silk Weaved bracelets are designed to be worn everyday and are perfect for adding a bit of luxe colour to any outfit, we love to stack different colours together to create different stories. The new collection is based on the natural colours occurring in sunsets, a perfect colour story for summer.
Rita Ora, the icon for the Silk Weaved bracelet, knows how to stack, wearing Assya Silk Weaved bracelets in a rainbow of colours.
But don’t limit yourself to stacking them with other Silk Weaved bracelets, mix it up with other Assya bracelets and your own bracelets. Rita Ora was the embodiment of festival chic at Glastonbury last year layering the Silk Weaved with her own bracelets (and festival wristband) and Assya Mini Cage and Baby Charm bracelet.
Assya’s Baby Charm bracelets make a perfect accompaniment to the Silk Weaved, designed in complimentary colours, with beads made from gemstones and shimmer charms they offer a pretty feminine contrast to the bold Silk Weaved. Our new lookbook pictures showcase this approach.
In the Assya Head Office bracelet stacking is our favourite accessory look at the moment, and be prepared to see more of it as the summer wears on and the arms come out. What looks better on a tanned arm that a bit of colourful armcandy!

SS14 Trend: Fringing and Tassels
The SS14 catwalks were alive with movement thanks to the wealth of tassels and fringing, adorning everything from dresses to capes, and bags to swimwear.
Calvin Klein and Erdem’s approach was ladylike with a nod towards the fringed dresses of the 1920’s, while Valentino & Pucci had an exotic tribal feel.
Accessories weren’t left out either, at Gucci bags were colourful with dramatic fringing reminiscent of the 70’s and Valentino bags also had this feel but with a glamorous edge provided by gold embellishments.
Over at Anya Hindmarch, the star of the show was the Geogianna clutch with oversized tassel, even Anya classics were in for a revamp with a colourful layered tassel. The Tassels are available to buy individually, perfect for adding a touch of tassel to any bag.
Add a touch of tassel and fringe to any outfit with Assya’s Gatsby collection, featuring a range of pieces inspired the 1920’s style combined with an old Italian weaving technique. The long tassel fringe earrings provide and touch of glamour and sophistication and are a favourite of Penny Lancaster and Abby Clancy. Or try Assya’s long silver scarf necklace, as worn by Cameron Diaz for Harpers Bazaar.
