Romancing the Stone

Sphinx is Assya’s latest collection taking one step further in exploring geometric shapes and their relationship with space. The result is a refined contemporary collection.

The Sphinx collection is extremely versatile; the ring can be worn in its original form or with stones inserted in the facets to create many shapes from the same structure, the result is a truly unique piece that defies convention.

Each ring is crafted in 18ct gold and adorned with sparkling diamonds. The gemstones chalcedony, amethyst, blue topaz, morganite can be added in combinations of your choosing. The pairing of diamonds and gemstones make for a piece that sparkles intensely and will add instant glamour to any ensemble.

Having caused quite a stir due to leaping between some well known television talent shows, we are very happy to report that Assya London remains a firm favourite of the beautiful Rita Ora! Rita has been showing her appreciation of Assya London jewellery over the past few weeks, adorning her ears regularly in our Cuff Studs and Ear Sliders. Sophisticated yet understated, we’re taking Rita’s lead and wearing this pairing every day too! Each design is embellished with pavé diamonds for a subtle sparkle that comfortably hugs the ear.

ASSYA’s Day Out at Ascot

My first day at Royal Ascot was fabulous.  After a mad search for a hat, I found the perfect one at Gina Foster Millinery on Portobello Road.
I completed my outfit with the Rose Gold Arrow Earrings, Mini Cage Bangle, Gold Cage Ring with Rose Quartz and Rose Gold Moonlight Ring with White Diamonds, one of my favourite pieces!
As a horse owner we were invited to the Royal parade and was just a few meters away from the HRH Her Majesty the Queen who looked lovely in an aqua green suit.
My horse, Taper Tantrum, no 11 is a beauty! James Stuart is the Jockey who rode Taper Tantrum.
Taper didn’t win this time but thank you for a great day!

Daddy Daughter Ball

We recently had the pleasure of designing a charm and donating a Constellation necklace to the Daddy Daughter Ball in Hong Kong. The event was in aid of the The Child Development Center, a brilliant charity which provides early intervention for children with special needs.

Our Constellation necklace was raffled off and won by Charlotte De Jong and we are happy to announce that the charms raised $10,000 for the charity on the night.

You can find out more about the great work the The Child Development Centre is doing here.

Biennale des Antiquaires, Paris

Last week Ninfa and I had the pleasure of visiting the Biennale des Antiquares, in the Grand Palais, where some of the top Fine Jeweller’s from around the world presented their collections. It was a showcase of mouth-watering jewels one more beautiful than the other, we could barely contain our excitement and our inspiration was endless.

Biennale des Antiquaires

Each Jewellery house created exclusive collections especially made for the Biennale, Dior, Chanel, Graff, Bulgari, Cartier, Van Cleef…it was hard to choose!
One of our favourites however is the new Haute Couture inspired collection by DIOR. Exquisite in design and unique in creation.

Our mouths watered when we saw the beautiful Graff Watch encrusted with precious jewels and their diamond tassel necklace.

We also loved the Chanel ring collection inspired by the stars.

In terms of display, the Bulgari retro inspired room was a winner alongside the Boucheron flower windows!

After all this jewellery lusting we were invited to the Chanel boutique for Vogue’s Fashion Night out, Paris, where we took our mind off the diamonds with some champagne!

If you happen to be in Paris
The best place to eat is…
Hotel Costes. With an enchanting courtyard, it has some of the best people watching in Paris!
My signature dish when in Paris is…
A fine Apple tart with Ice Cream. The best!
